Did you know that Japanese civilization  goes back over 2,000 years? Japan is one of the world’s oldest continuing civilizations. Known as “The Land of the Rising Sun”, Japan is located in east Asia in the Pacific Ocean. Japan is surrounded by water so they have great military defenses and have been isolated for a long time. 


Japan has two main religions, Shinto and Buddhism.., and both play a key role in how the people live their everyday lives, including being respectful of elders and ancestors.  



 In Japan the first atomic bomb was dropped in Hiroshima. And cost the death of many people. And you can visit Hiroshima and the destruction  the bomb caused.


In Japan over by the mountains there are volcanoes that are still active.

The land over in Japan is beautiful, there are so many cherry blossom trees, mountains, beaches and forests. And in the mountains there are still active volcanos.

 In Japan they are a more advanced civilization so if you visit they would have a amazing technology.

  Haiti is an island in North America in the Caribbean.  Port-au-Prince is the capital of Haiti. The language in Haiti is a blend of African, French and Taino. Haiti is the first all Black county to get independence. In 1749 the French came to Port-au-Prince. Haiti is one of the poorest countries, so why should France or the United States squeeze its money?  There are many bandits in Haiti. Haitian food is very rich. Haitians in Haiti play soccer.
