Colombia is a country in South America. It has mountains, rivers and beaches.  “The Magdalena River system of the northern Andes has a length of 1,612 kilometers.”  (Britannica School).  Bogota is the capital of Colombia.  


The types of food eaten are: bandeja paisa, ajiaco and lechona. The Bandeja paisa includes beans, white rice, pork rinds, powdered meat, chorizo, fried egg, ripe plantain, avocado. Ajaco contains chicken, three types of potatoes (criolla, sabanera and pastusa), corn on the cob, guascas, onion, garlic, cilantro and, to serve, cream, capers and avocado. Lechona contains whole roasted pork stuffed with rice, peas, onion, and spices, and is served with arepas. The plants of coffee grow on plantations.


 Some music from Colombia is Combia, Vallenato, and Champeta. I like this music because it uses different instruments.


Colombia has a government with a president  and the people can vote.

The president Gustavo Petro protects Colombia.

  Haiti is an island in North America in the Caribbean.  Port-au-Prince is the capital of Haiti. The language in Haiti is a blend of African, French and Taino. Haiti is the first all Black county to get independence. In 1749 the French came to Port-au-Prince. Haiti is one of the poorest countries, so why should France or the United States squeeze its money?  There are many bandits in Haiti. Haitian food is very rich. Haitians in Haiti play soccer.

Haiti is a very poor country because French and Americans take  money from Haiti. Most people in Haiti are very poor. Haitian Creole is the main language of Haiti.
